Mission Statement
For the school's existence at Ruhara Hill,
This mission statement is documented and is the basis for learning and for all activities.
Teaching
Students attendance: Despite our students being both day and boarding, their academic needs are well catered for.Class registers are well monitored to avoid their tendency of teachers and students to miss lessons.
At St.Kirigwajjo, every candidate in our hands is assured of a certificate at the completion of their studies which is a support for their further studies.
b) Teachers attendance: What is very important here is that teachers normally help learners in their studies. At our school, attendance registrars are used to monitor teacher's presence in class and are submitted to the office of deputy academics every Friday of the ending week.
c) Timetable: The school has a genuine timetable on display in offices, staffroom and have the prescribed guidelines for the number of periods per week for each subject.
d) Learning Aids/Instructional materials: When you see and observe, forgetting becomes history, at St.Kirigwajjo teachers are encouraged to use learning aids to help the learners in grasping the concepts learnt in class, it also eases the work of a teacher when conducting his / her lessons. The school implements the ICT policy as required by the Ministry of education and Sports. This is basically for advanced level students and leaders.
ProgrammesOffered
The school offers the following programmes: Science, Business, General Arts and Vocational Skills.From this level of education, hardworking and successful students move into the various universities and other tertiary institutions in the country to prepare themselves for specialized education for their future. On others who think that they have acquired enough knowledge normally establish their business outright.
Departments
The school has different departments
managed by the Heads of Department.
These departments include: Languages, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, Guidance & Counseling, Co-curricular activities and Computer technology.
Library
The school has a well stocked library for students’ references with latest books and new editions at all levels. Qualified and committed librarians help in keeping order in the room and making it easy for the students to access books. Examinable and non examinable textbooks are kept in different shelves for the students use.
Laboratory
At our school, the issue of practicals is a walk over, the school budgets always provide for stocking the laboratory with new chemicals and reagents every term to ensure that students carry out regular practicals in their lessons. Failures in practicals is history at our school.
Furniture and Classrooms
Furniture is enough and appreciated by all students. We have comfortable classrooms as well. This learning environment is just enough to make students perform well.
Co-curricular Activities
The school has games and sports and extra co-curricular programmes clearly integrated on the school timetable to help learners improve on their talents and social life thus relaxing their brains from the hectic lessons. These include; Academic debates, football, netball, volleyball, Basket ball, Softball, Handball, Music Dance and Drama, Clubs and Association among others
Curriculum
The school is committed to engaging students at school through a relevant, flexible and challenging curriculum which supports student pathways and promotes retention.
Co-curricular activities include Football, Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, Baseball, Softball Athletics, Music Dance and drama, Boys scouting and Girl guide.Examinations
(MOCK)A series of examinations are done at all levels ranging from internal mocks, External exams such as District mock and outside the district from other Examination Boards. Internal and external examinations help in the assessment of the extent of students knowledge in a subject.
Assessments
The system used at our school is; Assessment tests,
two sets in a term, Midterm examinations (comprehensive),
End of term examinations are also comprehensive.
With this form of assessment, the school is assured
of proper assessment of learners for a term.

"EDUCATION IS OUR FUTURE"
PRESIDENTIAL INITIATIVE ON AIDS STRATEGY FOR COMMUNICATION TO THE YOUTH - PIASCY As the President’s initiative we educate learners and make them love PIASCY programmes as a requirement by the ministry.
Meetings
Academic meetings are held to exchange ideas on the extent
of syllabus coverage. The documentaries made in such
meetings help teachers to know the different students and how to handle their individual learner differences in both classroom environment and outside.
Motivation
Learners are motivated to work hard through bursaries that are awarded every term to the best performing students. Those who score 8 – 12 aggregates qualify for ½ payments of school fees for the following term. Those who maintain it throughout the year don’t pay a single coin the following term.
Marking of students work is also part of motivating learners. Teachers are also motivated to love their profession through salary and other internal staff professional development activities such as refresher courses and seminars.
Performance appraisals are part of staff benefits that motivate them to continue teaching.

SENIOR FOUR CANDIDATES 2015 START NATIONAL EXAMINATIONS
The Uganda Certificate Examinations(UCE) started today at St.Kirigwajjo S.S and in the whole country with the Briefing of Candidates.
Briefing which is the giving of guidelines to Candidates is considered to be the first examination.
St.Kirigwajjo S.S has got 181 candidates who are sitting UCE examinations this year 2015. Their first real subject examination is Physics Practicals and will take place on Monday 12th.Ocober.2015.While their last examination is Fine Art and will be done on 10th.November.2015.
The Headteacher Rev.Fr.Nsaali Mukasa Andrew together with the top executive of the school and the subject teachers carried out the briefing exercise.
Special prayers to bless the candidates will be conducted on Sunday 11th.October.2015.
We wish all Our candidates of Senior Four successful examinations.
SENIOR ONE INTAKE FOR 2016
the intake for senior one students academic year 2016/17 is on. Registration started on Monday 17th.January.2016 at the school premises. The cutoff points are between 4 and 26 aggregate. The Registration fee is 10.000 Uganda Shillings.
The starting date for Senior One is 22nd.February.2016. Meanwhile the starting date for the continuing higher classes that is Senior Two,Three,Four and Six is 1st.February.2016. This is the date we decided upon when we were closing the last year and it was put on the Student's Report forms.
However,due to the impending National elections,the Government has given a directive that schools should open on 22nd.February.2016 after the elections.
We have not yet come up with a position as a school to adjust our decision to suit that of Government since most of the students registered for voting from the School. If we change that date,our clients will be informed in time through different media.

EXAMINATIONS START.
The school registered 2012 students but only 2010 managet to turned up for the examinations and we hope for better results comparered to 2015.
